Driving to New Orleans

Watching competing cloud clusters and shifting wind currents in fickle gulf streams - watching the crescent earth heal itself of storms it self-inflicts - I ride in under it all like the ant that I am - scurrying for my own crumb to carry back to colonies to which I am obligated - groaning, grieving and growing - deep sigh - like these clouds - a covering.

Former Interns Launch a Support Apparatus for Indigenous Ministry in Tanzania

Sydney Schaeff and Melissa Reyes, two former interns, are busy supporting an indigenous ministry work in Tanzania. Melissa has graduated from the University of Florida and is now working at Campus Crusade International in Orlando, Florida. Sydney will be graduating this year from the same university and will begin teaching with Teach for America in Los Angeles, CA.
During their breaks from college they have helped to raise enough support to launch an orphanage and start a school for street kids in Tanzania. Some college kids pride themselves in becoming active in God’s work in the world, but these two have taken the cake!
